SUNDAY is LOVE DAY

Happy Sunday everyone! I know most people like to donate, and give this time of year, but some organizations start early with their donations, and if you wait too long, its too late. That's what happened last year with a charity we wanted to donate to. It's called Operation Christmas Child, and its really cool, especially if you have children, or lots of shoe boxes sitting around in the basement, garage, etc.

It's very simple! Here are the 3 easy steps.

1) Find a shoe box, or the official Christmas Child box at a Church or local participating location.
2) Fill the box up with $10-$15 dollars worth of toys, hygiene items, educational items (paper, markers, etc.
3) Bring filled box back to location, with a small donation so that it can be shipped to the child.

There are several ways to love on people this time of year, but since Aidan and I packed our box this morning, I wanted to let everyone know about this cool organization, and what it does. Click on the link above to learn more!

Hope everyone has a safe and blessed Sunday!

"You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce Thanksgiving to God. " - 2 Corinthians 9:11

4 Years Younger in 4 Weeks

Class #2 - Eyes, Brows, and Lashes     Session #4 - Cool Tips!

If you suffer from rogue grey eyebrow hairs then look for colored brow gel which can help conceal them and make you look younger!

Want your eyes to pop more? A light eyeliner will do this and can also show off your flawless skin.

Dark shadows on the inside of the nose bone? - Dot smooth concealer there and it will take 5 years off your age!

Gift Idea!!! (KATE SPADE)

It’s been well established that I’m a sucker for sparkle. So, I am, of course, loving this Kate Spade Glitter iPhone case! It looks like it’s covered with glittering sprinkles. Did I mention that I have a weakness for sprinkles too?!?

4 Years Younger in 4 Weeks

Class #2 - Eyes, Brows, and Lashes     Session #3 - Arch those Brows!

Make your face look younger by shaping your eyebrow in an arch - this helps to add an instant lift. However, just remember not to over pluck - Once you reach your 30's, eyebrow hair does not grow back as quickly as it once did!

If you do accidentally over pluck, have no fear, we offer a very effective Lash and Brow Serum!

I finally made it to Pinterest!

Just wanted to let everyone I am now on Pinterest and am featuring gifts and products right now that are great for the holidays! Take a look see what gifts are "Trending" this year! Click below...

Check it out!

4 Years Younger in 4 Weeks

Class #2 - Eyes, Brows, and Lashes     Session #2 - Volumizing

“Volumize” the skin around the eyes – Pricey dermatologist injections plump up sagging spots on the face (using fillers like hyaluronic acid) but some topical skin care products can produce similar results!
While most topicals take up to 12 weeks to show results “Good Housekeeping Magazine” says that Mary Kay’s Time Wise Repair Volu-Firm Eye renewal is one of THE best topical products for around the eyes!
Here is a link to our product! So excited for the publicity!

GIFT IDEA!
Okay, so this isn't a big ticket item, but I know a lot of people could use this. It is also a great stocking stuffer, or even a gag gift? My husband's parents are always trying to one up the last year for creative gifts found in the stocking, so this year I wouldn't be surprised if we found these Christmas morning.

Lesley

Happy Monday Lovelies!

Whether you’re enjoying a nice, long weekend or if you’re back to the grind today, I hope this Monday morning is treating you well! Back to school for our new lesson!

Four Years Younger in 4 Weeks!

New Session! - Eyes, Brows and Lashes

Eyes...
Dark circles under eyes - Mix concealer with your light foundation and gently pat then spread over the darker areas.
Eye bags - dot concealer and smooth underneath the bags to disguise the shadow. Use a lighter foundation over the puffy bags themselves.
Eyebrows...
Thinning with age? Use a pencil to draw short, hairlike strokes, then blend with a brush. This creates a natural – looking shadow so brows look denser than they really are.

Look forward to more tips and ideas about this subject all week long! (plus other goodies!)
Let me know if there is anything I can do for you this week!

Smiles,
Lesley

Sunday is LOVE DAY

On Sunday's, I would like to discuss things that I am thankful for, that maybe we should all be thankful for, and share stories of inspiration that can hopefully uplift us and bring us a new energy for the week ahead!

This week, I wanted to more bring attention to the storm out East, Sandy.

I saw a picture this morning of Justin Timberlake and his new wife, a few weeks after their wedding, helping unload relief aid boxes out of the back of a truck. It got me to think, while some magazines profit on gossip about whether famous people's marriages will last, who is dating who, or how much weight someone has gained, it really only comes down to who the person is and where their heart is. (That doesn't sell magazines unfortunately)So kudos to everyone, famous or not, who is getting involved and putting others in front of themselves!

While many of you have helped with Sandy, or relief efforts in the past, Alec and I are wanting to send help to Sandy as well. I saw an idea that I thought was cool and would like to do! It basically goes that for every "Like" on facebook I receive, I will give $1 to Sandy relief. (Spread the word, I wouldn't mind going broke if it meant helping people!)- Simply click below or send your friends to the site!

I also want to make note of the veterans that have allowed us the privelage of remaining a free country all these years. I sometimes get goosebumps thinking about the love they have for this country and its people, and what they are willing to do and sacrifice. Words can not express what they have done!

That is it for now, but here are some encouraging words to leave you with this Sunday. "Even people who are courageous have fears, its just that they don't lose sight of the end result and keep going."

Smiles,

Lesley
